Fist Fun!
Only recently have I discovered the joys of fisting. Becoming more curious after playing with XL toys, self fisting was still elusive to me and after several failed attempts I thought unachievable, deciding my small build was just not anatomically capable of taking a fist.
However after a couple of months of playing with ever increasing size butt plugs I finally did it! The feeling of fullness and exploring my colon was amazing and now I have to say I’m completely addicted and can’t get enough of stretching my hole to the max!
Anal Training
My mistake in thinking I could never self fist was that I didn’t give give my hole enough time to get accustomed to bigger insertions and gently stretching my sphincter to get it more used to taking bigger objects with less pain. In fact one time I tried to take things too fast and ended up with a painful haemorrhoid which set me back a couple of months, not recommended!
So if you too are starting on a fisting journey I’ll teach you how to get there gently and safely!
Assuming you are not completely new to anal and have used toys on yourself before you need to start exercising your anus to get it used to taking bigger and bigger objects, the sphincter is like any other muscle in the body and benefits from regular but gentle exercise.
I found a set of silicon butt plugs really helped me on my journey, in fact from being able to take a mid size plug to being able to self fist and take the largest size by just training a couple of times a week took me only around 2 months.
This set of plugs from Aliexpress.com (search silicon butt plugs) make the ideal training set, I bought the M through to XXL at a very reasonable price
The smooth silicon make insertion much kinder on your hole as well as warming quickly to your body temperature.
I trained with 50-100 insertions in quick succession just a couple of times a week (which sounds a lot but only took a few minutes each session, this was all it took for me to really expand my hole’s capabilities, and move up to the next size plug.
Also try holding each plug in for ever increasing amounts of time, this will also get your hole more comfortable with larger objects without feeling the need to expel them. The key here again is relaxation.
With regular training a just 2-3 times a week, within 2 months I’d moved from the M to the XL and found this was big enough to get me ready to take my own fist and then even succeed in getting the XXL in!
Don’t feel the need to run before you can walk, rest is as important as exercise and will give your hole important time to recover.
Even after 2 weeks of no activity I found my hole was just as flexible and it didn’t take much warm up to be back where I was.
Preparation for fisting.
Once you feel you are able to take a reasonable size toy in your hole and are ready to take the plunge there are a couple of things to fist consider;
1. Trim Finger Nails. To avoid any internal damage or tears to your colon it is essential that your finger nails are well trimmed, use a nail file to smooth any rough edges, or to be double safe use latex gloves too, either disposable or thicker grade re-usable ones.
2. Clean out. Although shit fisting can be fun too, it’s easier initially to have room for your fist so a clear colon will help and keep things cleaner for cleanup after. I won’t go into the details of anal douching as I’m sure being an anal adventurer already you’ll already be aware of the methods. There’s no need to put too much water up there as you will just end up sending more matter down and it will take forever for the water to run clear and at this stage we only need the lower colon to be clear.
If you are a regular anal player I would recommend getting in the habit of taking Fibre supplements tablets such as Psyllium Husk each day as these really help to keep bulk out your stools and keep your colon much clearer and cleaner, in fact you may not end up needing to douche at all.
3. Lube up! Lastly and by no means least important is lube, you are going to need plenty of it, but what type?
Water Based; Usually the cheapest option but can dry out quickly (tip: keep a spray bottle of water handy to rejuvenate you hands and hole if it starts drying out.
Buy ready made or my recommendation - brands such as Fist Lube powder, X-lube or J-lube. These come in powder form allowing you to mix up the exact quantity and consistency you need. This works out really cost effective too!
Buy a squeezy sports water bottle to mix it in and make application easier.
Silicon based, these tend to be a little more expensive but doesn’t dry out so quickly and is silky smooth to the touch, you can also buy this as a hybrid silicon/water based.
Be aware silicon lube is not compatible with silicon toys!
Oil Based; Oil based fisting lubes or butter provide great lubrication without drying out but can be messier and stain bedding and soft furnishings.
My personal recommendation is
Fist Lube Powder
A t-spoon makes a bottle’s worth, plus it has a longer shelf life once mixed than X or J lube.
Shape you hand into a duck bill shape to ease penatration
A kneeling position using your dominant hand I find the most comfortable
Fisting.
After training your hole to be ready, taking your time, relaxing your mind and whole body is the key to success.
The position to get the best access I find is kneeling in doggy position.
Ensuring your hand and hole are well applied with lube, including the back of your hand up to your wrist, begin gently pushing in and out with your hand until you are up to your knuckles and you feel your hole is comfortably loosening and stretching.
You’ll need to shape your hand to resemble a duck bill with your thumb tucked in to your palm and fingers together slightly curved inwards.
Getting past you knuckles can be challenging for a beginner but once you master the technique you will be able to fist from then on, so once you are in a far as you can, angle your elbow downwards and hand upwards slightly you should then if you are loose enough by applying just a little more pressure be able slide you hand all the way in and loose your fisting virginity, Hurrah!
The first time I managed to get my fist inside me I was amazed at my new achievement and how good it felt, I’ve now become addicted, with the need to get my fist inside me now at least a couple of times a week!
Although you may find slight resistance you should never feel any pain while attempting to fist so if you don’t succeed at first go back to working on relaxation and gently stretching.
Once you are comfortable with your fist inside you it’s feels amazing to have an explore of your colon with your fingertips and give you a real insight into how the colon curves and contracts, useful too when you take things deeper, either with a fist or toys!
I’d really recommend anyone wanting to get into fisting with a playmate whether a top or bottom to explore your own hole in this way first, that way you’ll get to know how to explore your partners anus or have someone explore yours with their fist without casing any discomfort.
When you are ready to move onto fisting with a partner, make sure it is someone that puts you at ease, you can be fully relaxed with and trust completely to be gentle and take their time, is able to listen to you as well as read how you are reacting to know the speed and depth they can go.
Accessories.
Fisting can take quite a bit of lube, so a great way to protect your sheets or floor to make clean up easier is to buy some disposable bed pads. Also handy as sometimes you may uncontrollably squirt piss as your hole naturally pushes out with effects of fisting, a sensation which of course I love!
Fisting dildo.
For solo play twisting your arm behind your back can become a little tiring so a fist shaped dildo can extend your pleasures.
Go for a version with a suction cup for easier hands free play and if you can afford it opt for a silicon model as it will be softer and kinder to your body.
Often fist dildos are slightly small than a real hand so are great for training your hole to work your way up to the real thing!
Popppers.
Poopers are a personal choice and certainly not a necessity for fisting,
personally I find them not very effective and can give a headache but
others find they the help to relax the muscles inside the anus making penetration easier. Myriad brands and strengths are available and can be researched online.
Fibre Supplement.
A fibre supplement such as Psyllium Husk capsules really help with keeping your colon cleaner in readiness for anal play. Ones with an added probiotic also also benefit your gut health too.
Gloves.
Whether disposable or thicker grade reusable, gloves can help protect your colon from any sharp finger nails and also add another layer of kinkiness to your play!
Upside & Downsides?
Are there any downsides to fisting, for example can it make you incontinent? is a question often asked.
Well no, the anus is just like any other muscle that actually benefits for regular exercise.
Shortly after a fisting session I find my hole closes as tight as it ever did before, A massive upside I find now, even if I only fist once every couple of weeks, is my hole is much more easy to relax and being more supple it only takes me a minute or two warm up to be able to take my fist or bigger toys making anal play much more fun and pleasurable.
Another benefit as a scat lover I’ve found it makes my turds bigger as my hole is more flexible to let them pass!
Also being more supple and used to stretching means it is far less susceptible to injury and haemorrhoids.
Possible the only downside I can see is it may make your hole less pleasurable for a top as it will not be as tight, but your should find you new found anal awareness means you can contract and clench your hole around the tops cock to provide that pleasure!
Be warmed Fisting can be highly addictive!
